Powered by 8th gen i7 CPU, the laptops will be launched at CES 2019.
LG’s Gram lineup of notebooks provide great battery life and good performance in a very light and thin design. LG promised a 20 hour battery back when it launched the 15 inch Gram earlier this year. Now, LG is looking to expand its Gram portfolio by introducing a 17 inch variant along with a 14 inch 2-in-1 laptop.
LG Gram 17
This is the first ever 17 inch Gram variant LG has announced since the inception of Gram lineup way back in 2015. Earlier it included laptops with 13”, 14” and 15.6” screen sizes. In India LG sells only 14” Gram through Amazon.
The laptop will sport Intel i7 8565U quad core processor with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. The display on this device is a WQHD with 2560 x 1600 resolution. The battery is 72 Wh which LG claims should give around 19 hours of battery life.
The laptop will come with three USB-A 3.1 ports and one USB-C thunderbolt 3 port which is nice since the laptop does not come with a dedicated GPU.
LG also announced a 14 inch 2-in-1 Gram model. This variant will also feature an i7 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD. However, it will come with a Full HD panel which will increase its battery capacity up to 21 hours.
LG is also bundling a Wacom pen for drawing while using the device as a tablet. The laptop weighs around 2.53 pounds or 1.1 kilograms which should make it ideal for people who need an ultraportable device.
The CES 2019 is already jam packed with manufacturers announcing their upcoming products. With great battery life, thin body and strong performance , the LG Gram should amaze many people at the event.
